Abstract
The research question is how to change decision-making by executives of NGOs in order to bring each player more gain. Many accounting researchers focus on what is gain for executives of NGOs and it is know that their gain is similar with one for executives of profit-oriented entities. Gain for contributors of NGOs is to sustain NGOs’ missions and the missions are to support beneficiaries. Especially, when NGOs make activities in conflict zones, beneficiaries are inhabitants of conflict zones. Gain for U.S. Forces operating in conflict zones is to bring order into conflict zones and order benefits inhabitants of conflict zones. For example, if there are more interactions between NGOs and U.S. Forces, U.S. Forces can find the locus where they should patrol to sustain order. This research tries to collect information on one of famous NGOs by the methodology of case studies. Interviews will be proceeded on American NGOs’ offices in Japan at least. Probably, interviews on NGOs will be proceed also in the U.K. NGOs collaborative with U.S. Forces and using SROI are desirable as cases, because such cases are best practices. The collected information is interpreted by practical knowledge about NGOs. Then this research tries to build computational model which is accord with the investigated case. This research will help decision-making by executives of American NGOs acting in conflict zones. This proposed research will be a basis for other researchers who will proceed economic experiments.
