Robust Alignment of Large Language Models

Abstract

Recent interest in germanium-tin (GeSn) and similar alloys grown on silicon (Si) materials is a result of their potential for fabricating efficient infrared (IR) photodetectors and arrays. However, there are major deficiencies in the current methods for producing such alloys and efficient mid-IR photodetector arrays on Si have yet to be realised. This project utilizes innovative materials processing methods and extensive materials and devices characterisation techniques to substantially improve material properties. The novel approaches in this project are based on our previous encouraging findings. i) We fully characterised a range of GeSn films, including superlattice films, grown by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) on both
