Indium Arsenide Nanowire Array Shortwave Infrared Photodetectors
Abstract
PBF and Binder Jetting technologies are suited for small-scale and mass production, whereas DED technology is predominantly used for large-scale applications that require multiple materials. Despite their advancements, these technologies face limitations, particularly the necessity for an inert environment to prevent metal oxidation. In this study, we propose Morphing Shield Technology to solve this problem. To verify the feasibility of the proposed technology, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations will be performed to predict gas flow and oxygen levels. The nozzle design will be optimized based on the simulation results, and research will be conducted to optimize printing parameters by producing specimens. This study aims to propose an innovative technology that introduces a new paradigm for maintaining an inert environment.
