Bio-inspired Collaborative Odor Plume Tracking Algorithms
Abstract
The focus of the work is construct a generalized computer simulated environment and interacting agent algorithms. This environment will be based on and incorporate data from physical data collects provided by the government in addition to academic sources. Wihtin this environment, algorithms for single vehicle tracking will be developed and trade spaces explored for different sensor specifications and vehicle limitations. Challenges and failures of single vehicle algorithms will be identified and opportunities for multiple vehicle solutions proposed and potentially explored.
