Operation: Sky Dreamer - A FieldWerx Challenge
Abstract
The HSU Educational Foundation will construct a heavy lift research vehicle to be known as "Sky Dreamer" that will serve as a test bed and launch platform for Air Force Initiatives. It is anticipated that Sky Dreamer will host ongoing design challenges and research projects of FieldWerx that will benefit students and professionals in Northwest Florida, as well as the Air Force. Use cases include: Multi-Vehicle Operations (MVO)/Swarming Launch Platform, Cooperative Control, Urban Air Mobility (UAM) Research Testbed, Agility Prime, Autopilot Research, Energy Research (Hybrid, Hydrogen Fuel Cell, Battery), Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) Research
