Development of Remote Autonomy Experimental Capabilities

Abstract

University of Florida (UF) is requesting a grant in the amount of $480,820.00 to support the development of new software and experiments for remote networked autonomous decision-making under information latency. Specifically, this project will network the Autonomy Park located at the University of Florida with the Aviary located at Eglin AFB and allow autonomous agents at each facility to share information and interact with autonomous agents at the other. This will require the development of new software tools to connect the two facilities and allow the exchange of information. These developments will enable the deployment of teams of autonomous agents at both facilities.
