Design and Implementation of a Micro-Spectrometer for Broadband Terahertz Polarimetry

Abstract

The University of Texas at Austin is requesting a grant in the amount of$465,000.00 to pioneer the implementation of a state-of-the-art microspectrometer capable of operating across a broad terahertz (THz) spectrum. Overcoming these challenges would lead to a new era in materials discovery, enabling high-speed measurements across an ultrabroadband THz range and providing access to the electrodynamics of materials with significantly smaller lateral sizes (<10 µm).
