A Novel Unified Computational Approach for Optimal Guidance, Navigation, and Control with Applications to High-Speed Vehicle Flight

Abstract

The University of Florida (UF) is requesting a grant in the amount of $270,806.00 to develop a unified model-based computational approach for the real-time solution of highly constrained optimal control problems for application in GN&C with further applicability to high-speed flight. This research will propose a novel methodology for mission planning when state-variable inequality 2 path constraints are present, which is often the case when optimizing the trajectory of high-speed vehicles.
