Chin Inlet (HSSW-2)

Abstract

Aerodynamic/Propulsion Characterization of High-Speed Aerodynamic Vehicles and Missile Configuration Designs: The overarching objective of this effort is to generate a database of aerodynamic coefficients for the test article. AFRL will use the aerodynamic database to reduce risk of future test events so that accuracy of data is important. To this end, the model must include detailed geometric features including the shotgun connector (above Leidos logo), shoes (above cg mark), and conduit (underside). Protruding rivets, screw heads, or other features that may affect aerodynamics must also be included.
