Optimal Summation for Maximum Identification Range of Targets and the Biophotonics of Targets with Ultralow Reflectacne

Abstract

Objective: Duke University is requesting a grant in the amount of $133,761 to extend an underwater horizontal visual range model for camera eyes to the atmosphere, compound eyes, and multiple angles and to explore the parameter space of the reluctance of random-close-packed spheroids varying size, aspect ratio, and absorption characteristics, especially of ultra-black minerals.
