DESIGN CRITERIA AND PREDICTION TOOL BASED ON A MULTI-PARAMETERS ANALYSIS OF PULSATING HEAT PIPES

Abstract

The research project investigates on the possibility to exploit the low-enthalpy geothermal and photovoltaic energy in an embedded heating and cooling system based on the geothermal heat pump. In order to improve the geothermal heat exchanger, innovative solutions will be studied based on two-phase systems. A pilot plant will be designed and built. The total amount of energy will be mainly used to produce hot water for domestic purposes.
