On-demand, Single and N-Photons Sources by Perovskite Quantum Dots

Abstract

Our recent pioneering experiments on single and QD superlattices,11,13 proved the capability of perovskite QDs to serve as efficient quantum light source and provided a first glimpse of the world of collective optical phenomena in QD superlattices. The presented research project now aims at moving ahead boldly in this unexplored field and take this to the next level. The newly developed quantum light sources are likely to find applications in quantum information processing, quantum communications and quantum imaging applications, where quasi-deterministic quantum light sources with high emission rate are sorely missing.
