2023 International Conference on Photonics in Switching and Computing (PSC 2023)

Abstract

The International Conference on Photonics in Switching and Computing (PSC2023) is a premier international meeting on the application of photonic technologies for switching in telecom and datacom network architectures as well as for emerging applications as photonic neural networks, brain-inspired spiking-based computation and photonic signal processing in general. The ultrabroadband, low-latency and low-power consumption capabilities of photonic devices has led to much interest in their use for switching and processing of optical signals in the optical domain without the traditional O-E-O conversion process. Applications include but are not limited to- neuromorphic computing and machine learning devices, optical neural networks and reservoir computing, quantum computing and communication, optics to memory and optical RAM, photonic ASIC-FPGA for computing, photonic technologies and architectures for datacenter and High-Performance Computing, on-chip optical interconnection and networking, on-board optics and co-packaged optics for high-capacity interconnects, optical cross-connects and ROADMs, optical switches for space-mode division multiplexing.
