Organization of International Conference on Crystal Growth and Epitaxy (ICCGE-20)
Abstract
The first edition ICCG I, which was held in Boston (USA) in 1966, marked the formation of the crystal growth community as an independent discipline rather than subsidiary to a number of other fields. The key principle is that the theory and practice of crystal growth is common across a range of materials and applications and that we have much to share with one another. ICCGE is the primary event organized by the International Organization for Crystal Growth (IOCG) and takes place every three years in a different continent. Previous two editions were held in Japan in 2016 and in the United States in 2019. Naples has been chosen as European site for 2023.
