2023 International Workshop on Microwave Research and Applications

Abstract

The five-day Workshop aims at gathering up to 50 experts, physicists, chemists, and engineers, on modelling and applications of interaction of microwaves with matter. Topics of interest include microwave absorption by the collection of magnetic nanoparticles, random magnets, and metamaterials, such as carbon nanotubes, graphene, nanostructured and multilayered materials; geometrical enhancement of microwave absorption; microwave shielding and stealth technology, as well medical applications of microwaves. Talks will be delivered at the professional level for the audience consisting of mature scientists, postdoctoral and doctoral students, as well as undergraduate students specializing in the field of the Workshop. It will highlight the latest achievements in the field of microwave research that are of potential interest to the Department of Defense. The workshop will take place in Hotel Balneario Playa de Comaruga, Comaruga – Spain
