UCL Intelligent Radio Frequency Sensing Program

Abstract

This proposal looks to conduct fundamental exploratory research into the do-main of adaptive sensing that leverages the new paradigm of intelligent sensing, namely the usage of cognition within Radio Frequency (RF) sensing scenario. The research will look investigate concepts and study methods that move RF sensing forward from the traditional static, predictable, rule-based methods towards a highly adaptive and intelligent sensing capability which has the potential to revolutionize the field. This research program is planned to run for 3 years in the first instance, and will be undertaken by the Radar Research Group at University College London (UCL)
