11th EPS-QEOD Europhoton Conference

Abstract

The EPS-QEOD Europhoton conference is a biennial event that features the latest breakthroughs in the field of solid-state, fibre and waveguide light sources. World-renowned researchers discuss the latest developments in the scientific community accompanied by Summer-School sessions targeted at the PhD student and postdoctoral level. This year s conference will feature a special symposium on Quantum-Photonics Technologies and an industrial-talks session that will provide a snapshot of key developments in this frontier research alongside next generation systems that will underpin future research activities. A moderate sized single-channel conference, its main objective is to provide a discussion forum conducive to advancing scientific progress in photonic source development, whilst supporting the younger generation of researchers to advance their careers through exposure to state-of-the-art tutorials, presentations, and networking opportunities. Accessibility to the reported research is to be preserved through an open access electronic proceedings that provides a digital object identifier (DOI) for every accepted abstract submitted. Strict peer-review standards are key to ensuring that the quality of the presented research is maintained at highest international levels.
