Protocol Stack Design for Frequency-agile Ultra-broadband Airborne Networks in the THz Band

Abstract

“The Recipient will conceive, develop, and demonstrate innovative RF technologies above 100 GHz and associated networking strategies for future line of sight air to air communication capabilities. The objective of this research effort is to develop the first network architecture and protocol stack to support ultra-broadband airborne networks in the Terahertz band, by following a bottom-up approach and through a closed-loop combination of mathematical modeling, numerical simulation, and experimental evaluation.”
