Reconfigurable Plasma Metamaterial for Hgh-Power Microwaves

Abstract

The objective of this effort is to study the controllability and reconfigurability of DBD-needle electrode plasma metamaterial and the coupled interaction between the coherent plasma structure/microstructure (plasma metamaterial) with propagation of microwaves. This will include (1) simulating the interaction of microwaves with relevant plasma metamaterial structures/configurations; and (2) conducting fundamental plasma experiments to create the desired plasma structures/configurations for interaction with microwaves.
