An Investigation of the Suitability of a Laboratory Cloud Chamber for Optical Radiative Transfer Measurements

Abstract

Characterize the mean and fluctuating cloud properties in a laboratory cloud chamber relevant to radiative transfer in a hazy or cloudy medium with turbulence; Determine the feasibility and technical requirements for experiments to evaluate typical atmospheric radiative transfer conditions.
