Demonstration of Hybrid DSMC CFD Capability for Nonequilibrium Reacting Flows

Abstract

AFRL FOA-RVKV-2013-0001, Topic Area 3, Space Environmental Impact and Mitigation, in Grants.gov on 10 Dec 2013. The main objective of the proposed research is to leverage recent hybrid methodology advancements and, most importantly, newly developed chemistry models, to demonstrate hybrid particle-continuum (DSMC-CFD) solutions for reacting flows of interest to the hypersonics community.
