Religion, Culture, and Trust

Abstract

To examine the interaction of religion, culture, and trust, from a theoretical, neurophysiological, and practical standpoint. The research will help us understand a better how people with good intentions can become radicalized. If successful, this work would enhance understanding of cultural and religious factors that impact interpersonal trust, along with neurophysiological indications of trust. This knowledge would have broad impacts for more applied research appropriate to DoD interests.
