The Development of Efficient and Intelligent Algorithms for a New Class of Multifunctional Reconfigurable Antenna Systems

Abstract

The proliferation of antennas is a growing DOD issue that affects combat missions. More and more antennas are needed as requirements deem necessary. Tactical antennas must be small (reduced size) and cost-effective, but they must also be reliable, dynamic, and optimal. In order to achieve full mission potential, antennas require highly complex control algorithms.
