Simulation-Based and Risk-Sensitive Methodologies for Stochastic Optimization and Control

Abstract

The proposed research is concerned with the study of basic questions aimed at challenges in logistics, planning, and management of risk for the Air Force of the future. In particular, we propose to investigate simulation-based and risk-sensitive methodologies for stochastic optimization and control that can be effective tools in an integrated approach to military Command and Control, planning, and logistics
