Relationship between trust and entrainment in speech

Abstract

To test the hypothesis that entrainment in spoken behavior facilitates the development of trust in human-machine interactions. Analyzing data collected with a novel scenario and in native non-English (Slovak and Argentinean Spanish) as well as non-native English interactions we also seek to identify the impact of language and culture on the hypothesized link between spoken entrainment and trust.
