Understanding the Psychological/Behavioral Effects of Advanced Weaponry
Abstract
The Department of Defense is developing advanced weaponry that has an as yet unrealized potential to be a game-changer in future warfare. This program will employ state-of-the-art computer wargaming technology, together with the growing body of research into the psychological and sociological response to the use of weaponry, to understand and quantify the relative value and effectiveness of novel weapon systems vs. conventional kinetic weapons to achieve mission and campaign objectives.
