Sub-cycle optical pulse synthesis and stabilization in next-generation optical frequency combs

Abstract

The overall goal of the program is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the mode-locking physics and novel control capability in the next-generation optical frequency combs to achieve stabilization and sub-cycle optical pulse synthesis at 10 to 100 GHz repetition rates.
