Concepts and Materials for Sub-Nano Chemistry

Abstract

The objective of this research is to discover new sub-nanometer cluster systems and to evaluate their potential for applications as materials with specific catalytic, electronic, magnetic, and optical properties. Fundamental studies will provide improved understanding of metal particle chemistry in the sub-nanometer size range and synthetic work seeks to providing novel materials.
