Imaging with Electromagnetic Waves in Complex Environments
Abstract
The objective of this basic research project is to provide the foundational understanding of radar wave propagation through complex media, particularly realistic tunnels and caves. These are basically bending waveguides and have nonsmooth walls and, in many instances, terminate so that backreflection is to be expected.
