Characterization of Urban Traffic patterns in Intermittently Sampled Airborne Wide-Area Low-Altitude Full-Motion Imagery, for Intelligent Sensor Mobility Management

Abstract

The motivation for this project is to study behavioral models and algorithms to enhance situational awareness and security for urban combat and peacekeeping operations. It will address issues such as strategies to mitigate occlusions and how to improve sensor range and ability to detect movement in shadows.
