Synthesis of Multiphase Metallic Oxides by Femtosecond Laser Irradiation of Metallic Thin Films

Abstract

The motivation for this project is to investigate a promising low energy fabrication method to generate metal nanoparticles using laser decomposition. These nanoparticles have potential use in electrochromatic devices, electrodes for microbateries, or gas sensors.
