Exploring nonlinear optical properties of graphene from microwave to mid-infrared frequencies

Abstract

The objective of this basic research project is to provide the foundational approaches to predicting the nonlinear interaction of graphene with plasmons when illuminated by infrared or terahertz radiation. It will also examine the possibility that ultrashort pulses can be launched in a grapheme-semiconductor waveguide.
