Optics of plasmon- exciton nanomaterials in the strong coupling limit: self-consistent studies

Abstract

The objective of this basic research project is to provide a theoretical description of light/matter interaction on the nanoscale/nanostructure level with particular emphasis on quantum dots and nanolasers. It is reasonable to expect that these latter will play a role in future devices of interest to the DoD.
