Robust Software Design for Multi-Core Platforms

Abstract

The challenge is that as hardware improves rapidly – even to the point of 128 cores and more – the software models for these multi-core processors lag behind. The research objective in this research is to build the scientific foundation for analysis tools that will support the design of robust software applications for various multi-core programming models and platforms.
