Foundations and Applications of Program Obfuscation

Abstract

This proposal explores new ways to construct program obfuscation, i.e., scrambling programs to obscure their internal structures while preserving functionalities. The PI will also find new concepts of security requirements for new program obfuscation which do not depend on the computational hardness assumptions of known problems. Rather, he seeks new security requirements in terms of computational complexity. Moreover, the PI will find new formulations of security hypothesis that is falsifiable.
