Innovations in Statistical Image Analysis and Applications to 3D Imaging for Improved SSA

Abstract

The primary results of this work include: (1) General computational speed enhancements to Bayesian error estimation; (2) Design development of phase-masks to enable 3D imaging as applied to SSA; (3) Spectropolarimetric modeling of space objects to extract 3D shape, materials, etc.; (4) Enhanced modeling of highly turbulent atmospherics; and (5) Validation of the aforementioned tasks through simulation.
