Calibration and Certification of Molecular Tracking for the Measurement of Near Wall Stresses in High Speed Unseeded Air and Nitrogen

Abstract

The proposed research is to establish whether the new Femtosecond Laser Electronic Excitation Tagging (FLEET) approach to the measurement of air and nitrogen bearing flows can be implemented in the near wall region for quantitative measurements of wall and Reynolds stresses as well as other near wall transport parameters.
