Fundamental Studies of Microresonator-Based Parametric Frequency Combs

Abstract

Using microresonators, the proposal describes a comprehensive experimental and theoretical program to study comb generation dynamics, optimal designs and noise processes. The proposed research effort will advance the state of the art using integrated silicon-nitride microresonator-based parametric comb generation technology recently pioneered by the PI s.
