Instrumentation For Coherent Control of Magneto-electric Energy Conversion

Abstract

The focus of the research is to understand and elucidate three dynamic magneto-electric nonlinearities that have been conveniently ignored by the scientific community. First aim of this project is put the foundational non-linear physics for the understanding of magneto-electric rectification for the conversion of coherent and incoherent light into electricity. In addition, the technical merit of this project could enable the understanding of (1) intense optical magnetization, (2) Terahertz and second harmonic generation in centro-symmetric media and (3) investigation of the as the relativistic Hall effect of magneto-optic phenomena.
