New Generation Optical Nanotransformers for NIR-to-Visible Image Up-conversion and Friend-Foe Identification

Abstract

To investigate novel multi-step minimum loss energy transfer pathways, that utilize harvesting of IR light in a broad spectral range (700-1600 nm), with its subsequent conversion to the shorter wavelengths (250nm- 650nm) by efficient anti-Stokes luminescence to produce new generation IR-to-Visible/UV upconverting nanomaterials.
