RESONANT SOURCE OF SQUEEZED STATES OF LIGHT

Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop a narrowband source of squeezed states of light that operates on atomic resonance and that can efficiently interact with cold atomic systems. This will make it possible to enhance atomic interferometers and increase the precision of atomic clocks, which will lead to the enhancement of positioning systems such as GPS and more accurate gyrometers and accelerometers.
