Optimal and unstructured high-order non-intrusive approximations for uncertain parameterized simulations

Abstract

This project focuses on the following research objectives: development of robust non-intrusive, highorder, hierarchical, model-order approximation strategies for parametric uncertainty quantification; mathematical analysis of optimal unstructured sampling strategies for optimal placement of points in the parametric domain; application to a high-dimensional complex system with uncertain parametric inputs: plasma physics simulations.
