Multiscale Methods in Beamed Energy Harnessing Applications

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the coupling of energy (or transfer of energy) into the media that have distinct geometrical features. These distinct geometrical features are pivotal for the USAF application on the beamed energy concepts, and energy coupling. The innovation that has net been previously sufficiently investigated is related combined external field effects which is also pivotal for the aerospace materials for extreme environments portfolio, and spelled out explicitly in the AFOSR BAA2014-001.
