Diagnostics of strongly turbulent premixed flames based on direct numerical simulations

Abstract

The primary objective of the proposed research is to understand the flame structure and propagation and stabilization mechanism of turbulent premixed flames at strongly turbulent conditions, spanning the thin reaction zones and the broken reaction zones regimes, and the rate limiting physicochemical processes.
