Anticipating Future by Analogy-Making
Abstract
To develop a number of new reasoning mechanisms and integrate them in the AMBR model of analogy-making. The specific goals will be to improve the ability of the model to discover analogies between seemingly unrelated situations in various large-scale, realistic domains, including complex social situations; to find solutions to novel problems by using existing knowledge and to come up with relevant predictions about what is going to happen given the current state of affairs.
