Experimental Studies of Turbulent Premixed Flames in Compressible Flows

Abstract

The objective of research effort is to study turbulent flame structure and propagation flame kernels in compressible flows as well as the laser ignition process that initiate the kernels, at condition relevant to Air Force propulsion systems (jet engine, hypersonic scramjet, rockets).
