Nanoelectropulse-induced electromechanical signaling and control of biological systems
Abstract
The scientific and technical merits of the proposed basic science research are centered on electromechanical signaling which governs all living processes. These electrical stimuli from manmade devices are employed to alter, trigger, halt, or manipulate biological systems in complex ways. The offeror outlines a multidisciplinary basic research and advanced modeling effort in support and development of the concept of making pulsed RF stimulation a reality in living matter.
