Optimal Control of Level Set Dynamics Involved by PDE Systems
Abstract
The objective of this project is to 1) develop an approach to the optimal control of level sets that is numerically tractable by using common computational facilities; 2) demostrate the relevance of control of level sets in case studies within fields of interest for AFOSR.; and 3) extend an ongoing partnership with US academies/research centers in the research areas of computational mathematics and control.
