Small-Molecule Reactions Relevant to the Hypersonic Flight Regime

Abstract

The overall goal of this project is to apply computational methods to the reaction dynamics involving C-, O-, and N-atom containing species under conditions relevant to the hypersonic flight regime. Of paramount relevance are the computation of temperature-dependent reaction rate coefficients, branching ratios and cross sections which are the primary input for more coarse-grained investigations.
