Continued Research in Combustion Chemistry Mechanisms

Abstract

The objective of this project is to provide evaluated temperature and pressure-dependent rate constants, thermodynamics, and uncertainties for the many reactions involved in the combustion of C2-4 hydrocarbons, leading to combustion chemistry models for oxidation of those C2-4 molecular, which is a key control process of the energy conversion process in most of Air Force propulsion systems using HC fuel.
